STORY

Two Worlds, One Practice

I am a visual artist, designer and creative strategist working where art, design and storytelling meet. I studied Drawing and Painting at the University of Dhaka, developing a sensitivity to light, colour, composition and the emotional weight of moments. My practice moves across watercolour, acrylic, pencil and charcoal, between realism and abstraction. A short course in animation and character design at SAE Institute Berlin was a formative experience, expanding how I think about movement and visual narrative.

My journey includes hands-on corporate experience at PRAN-RFL Group, Akij Group and T.K. Group, where I have worked across packaging, brand identities, campaigns and digital experiences. These roles gave me extensive practical knowledge of packaging materials, structural and functional requirements, production processes and packaging machinery. Visiting a packaging fair and manufacturing facilities in China deepened this understanding, showing me first-hand how design moves from concept and material selection to engineering, production and the retail shelf.

In my studio, I bring together artistic instinct, commercial understanding and purposeful design; at home, I learn the deeper lessons of patience, observation and growth. My wife, Sanchita, is the steady centre of our family, caring for each of us with remarkable strength, understanding and quiet sacrifice. She carries countless responsibilities—many of them unseen—while holding our different needs together and giving us the confidence to move forward. My daughter, Rusaaifa, discovers something new every day, and watching her learn reminds me that growth never ends; just as she understands the world, I continue learning about art, life and myself as an artist.

My son, Saadvi, experiences life through autism. Life with this quiet genius is creative, unpredictable and full of puzzles we are learning to solve. His attention to patterns, details and emotions has reshaped how I observe and create, teaching me to question familiar solutions, find meaning beyond words and celebrate victories others may never notice. Behind those moments lie meticulous planning, sleepless nights, exhaustion and unwavering patience. Every special child is unique, and every family’s journey is a little bit more involved. We cherish the remarkable child Allah entrusted to us; Alhamdulillah, I feel blessed to be his father. I carry one fear—who will understand and love him as we do when we are no longer here? Yet autism has expanded how I see, love and create, proving that love and inspiration can speak in more than one language.

My family gives my work purpose. Autism did not make our world smaller; it revealed that love speaks in more than one language.

Bring the Challenge. I’ll Shape the Solution & the Impact.
